I don’t care who you are…

Successful business owners know there’s always room for improvement.

So regardless of how you feel about your current Insights, below are 5 top tips to increase engagement and keep people watching your videos.

Remember…

The longer you can keep someone’s attention, the better the chance they’ll take action!

1. Begin verbal hook post 5 Seconds

Since the majority of Facebook videos auto-play in the News Feed, save your most compelling “hooks” and questions until after the 5 second mark.

So use images and other visual queues within the first 3 seconds to grab and keep their attention.

We’ll talk more about how to do this in a moment.

Because most people will click the volume button between 3-5 seconds.

2. Use Images or bumper intros

A striking image or a quick 5-second animated intro at the beginning of your video can help create curiosity, especially because your video auto-plays in the News Feed.

Now, don’t be discouraged if you’re not a professional designer…

Hey, I’m certainly not!

Luckily you can get this done for you super cheap and quick using services like Canva and Fiverr, which are great resources to get professional-looking images and video “bumper” intros for just a couple of bucks.

3. Add Annotations

Adding text to your videos helps keep people’s attention.

For example, one of Elite Marketing Pro’s super affiliates recently added a note to the beginning of a new video that said…

Kim’s question definitely strikes a nerve, so stick around…

That annotation quadrupled her Average View Duration because it created curiosity!

So if you know that most people fall off of your videos before 10 seconds…

Add an annotation at the beginning and see if that helps with your viewer retention.

4. Ask Questions

 People love to help others.

And that’s why asking questions that require a response from your viewers will increase the engagement of your post and make your viewers feel more connected to you.

Believe it or not, your audience wants to interact and have a conversation.

However, they often don’t know how to “break the ice.”

So all you need to do is provide a prompt in the form of a few simple questions to get the engagement started.

5. Command Engagement

Look, here’s the truth…

If you don’t ask, it won’t happen.

So always ask people to Like, Share, and Comment on your videos to increase engagement.

Right now shares and comments are fantastic for increasing the reach of your videos.

But first…

You’ve got to make sure the content in your video is actually valuable, so people will want to share it and add their comments.

Makes sense, right?

Okay, that wraps up the 5 tactics for increasing your results.

Now, here’s the key to this entire process…

No matter what marketing you’re using for your business…

Knowing your numbers is critical

Because if you diligently analyze your Insights and keep tweaking and optimizing your videos to create more interaction and engagement…

I know you’ll be excited by your results!

With that said, though…

Simply having an audience doesn’t mean you’ll make a dime

You’ve also got to know how to effectively monetize your Fans and followers.

Don’t worry, though.

I’m about to break down my entire conversion strategy for you.

Here’s what my 3-step process looks like…

  1. Continuously run a “Likes” campaign to consistently grow your audience
  2. Provide regular value by directing your viewers to a conversion-optimized blog post
  3. “Retarget” everyone who watches your videos or clicks on your posts with a congruent offer to make sales and build your list

Now, I can understand if that seems a bit complex, but here’s the good news…

You can actually get started in just 10 minutes and day with a budget of a whopping $10.
