Recently I wrote about how to create 10 blog posts full of value and visually pleasing images. Because no one likes a ton of text, graphics are super important!

The thing is, though, not everyone has the budget for a graphic designer or is an artist, able to create their own. (I know I’m no artist!) So how do you get all those nice visuals without spending a ton of money?

Today, I’m going to discuss what programs to use to get those eye-catching visuals (mostly) totally free.

Now I say mostly because even though all these programs have a free component, there’s also a paid version that you can upgrade to. I recommend starting where your budget allows.

Don’t feel pressured to get the paid version if you can’t afford it!

Design Tool of Choice: Canva

Canva is one of the programs we’re most familiar with that has both a free and paid option.

Both versions of the program offer a ton of free templates for things like presentations, social media posts, birthday messages, and more.

If all of Canva’s amazing options overwhelm you, don’t panic!

The site offers simple, easy-to-understand tutorials that help you learn to navigate the website and get designing.

Crello

Another option for image generation, similar to Canva is Crello.

In all honesty, it was what we used before we found Canva but don’t let that deter you!

It offers some great ad, story, and social media posts layouts, all free to use. (And as an entrepreneur, it’s never a bad thing to have a few options!)

Biteable

A picture is worth 1000 words… but a video on your blog post is a pretty great way to get those clicks and Biteable can help.

It’s a program that does offer image generation but is overall absolutely incredible for simple, but professional-looking video creation!

No matter if you want to use those videos in social posts, blog posts, or for marketing your personal brand/business, Biteable is the video grandmaster for you!

Wave.Video

Another video resource is Wave.Video.

This site, like Biteable, is great for creating your own videos in a simple, but eye-catching way.

As an entrepreneur, it’s great to embed these videos within your blogs, posted on your social media, or even shared to your personal website.

Videos can help draw attention and bring a lot of value to your audience, too!

Design Wizard

So after digging through so many of these image/video creation websites, we realized that so many of these programs are copies of each other- they almost all look the same or offer the same images.

Design Wizard, though, offers a fresh arrangement of photos. If you’re looking to stand out, this is a great option too!

The best part of using the free versions of these sites is that you get to ‘try them before you buy them,’ a.k.a. before you fully commit.

And maybe you don’t end up sticking to just one platform- that’s okay!

What matters as an entrepreneur is having the resources at your disposal and getting to decide which one is right for you.

Remember not to dismiss the graphics on your site, social media, or blogs, as they can be very valuable in breaking up the text and giving the eye a break.

Plus, if a customer happens to see your image and like it, they’re much more likely to stop and investigate what it is you’re offering.

What are your favorite graphics resources?
