Word travels fast on Facebook if the right people hear your message and spread it, you can get a massive free exposure that can lead to equally impressive sales.

Live streaming is no longer a nice to have if you’re in business, it’s an absolute must.

I’ve seen clients who do live streaming everyday outdo their counterparts in the same industry 10 fold!

An Just in case you aren’t totally convinced that video is key to your branding and social media strategy, here are just a few statistics for you to think about.

Why Live Video Anyway?

  • 85% of all Internet users in the United States watched online video content in the past month on their device. (Statista 2018)
  • Internet users spent an average of 6 hrs & 48 mins per week watching videos online (Limelight, 2019)
  • In 2022 82% of the global internet traffic will come from video streaming and downloads (Citco, 2019)
  • Mobile video consumption rises by 100% every year (Insivia, 2020)
  • 72% of customers would rather learn about a product or service by way of video than any other media (HubSpot, 2020)

And just to put the frosting on the cake, with our current social distancing practices and still huge numbers of people working from home, this pandemic has created for you the biggest captive audience EVER!

What are most people doing while “working” from home?

You guessed it they’re on Facebook, or YouTube, or Instagram.

So the question is what do you talk about?

I’ve listed 4 things in this Post and Video that you can probably talk about until the hills come home, but I’m sure you can come up with more.

If the right people get a hold of your idea and run with it, your business is going to take off.

What can you talk about in your Facebook Lives?

1) Show people how to do something.

Teach what you know. Keep it basic or focus entirely on one complex aspect many people have difficulty with.

When I first got started online I remember a someone saying that your notes are uncashed cheques waiting to be cashed.

Now here’s the deal, there’s nothing left in the world to be invented. At least in our lifetime!

So everything there is to learn has been taught, but there are many people out that do NOT possess your knowledge. So share it with them! TEACH THEM! You never know what might happen.

2) Announce your new product or service and demonstrate how it works.

Ask for comments and ideas on how the product can be used.

Or ask for ideas on how an old product can be improved.

Talking to be people about what’s new always attracts a crowd!

3) Interview someone!

People can get bored easily and that’s why it’s important to spice it up somethings.

I did a Successful Female Entrepreneur Series in August for my birthday!

I brought in 4 amazing entrepreneurial mothers who are living the life because of the businesses they have created for themselves and their family.

I didn’t have to come up with any content, I just interviewed a leader!

4) Announce and explain a new business opportunity.

In the new economy, there will be many hidden opportunities to earn good incomes in ways we may not have noticed before.

Now as I stated in the video above you’re going to have to be strategic about where you share these new opportunities. Yes Facebook Live, but maybe inside a group and not on your personal wall.

But if you’re making money doing something and you want to share that with people WHY NOT?

As one expert put it, get the right event on Facebook and it’s like throwing gasoline on a fire.

Staging your own live “event” on Facebook is putting an exciting twist on the world’s most popular gathering place. You may be surprised at the audience and enthusiasm you draw.

Now get out there and do a Live video today.

Want a challenge? I’ve got an opportunity for you that I guarantee will help you get more comfortable with doing live video on a daily basis!

OK, OK, I’ll do a live video … soon. I just forced myself to get comfortable with video at all (mostly in Stories — low risk) but I know it’s the next step. I like the idea of interviewing other people, though that may be harder to do live. Thanks!

Oh definitely videos are crucial! It took me a very long time to get comfortable with them as well so don’t worry.
