March Spotlight Friday – Ferny Cellabos

It’s Spotlight Friday again!

And it’s actually quite ironic that this month I was going to share with you everything I know about Ferny Cellabos,

But he decided to do it for me instead! In this video!

Crazy how things work out sometimes.

But I met Ferny for the first time back in October 2014 when I also met our February Spotlight Tim Erway

while our No Excuses, now Acceleration Program, was hosting our Intensive Live Workshop.

Now you’re probably wondering,

Didn’t you talk about this before.

Well yes.

But this month I’m not going to bore you with all of the workshop talk.

 The Back Story of meeting Ferny

When I first met Ferny (in person) I had to look up!

Literally!

He’s huge!

And to be completely honest I was afraid.

Not only was he this top earner in the online marketing world,

But he was HUGE!

and he does Martial arts.

So you don’t want to get on his bad side.

I first came across this huge guy while “attending”

the No Excuses Summit via Live Stream. (from my computer)

It was amazing.

And I was just blown away by how he carried himself on stage.

But he’s really a sweet guy at heart.

Like a huge teddy bear!

 What has Ferny done to help me in my Business

You’re probably wondering why would I spotlight him.

Other than the fact that he’s made millions and has been teaching others to do the same……

He’s genuine.

You don’t get to meet a genuine, down to earth type of person everyday.

He shares some of his story here in this video

Trust me you’ll need to bring a box of tissue.

But he tells it as it is.

I remember at our weekend Intensive after they watched my thank you video for one of my capture pages,

true enough,

he gave his feedback in the group for everyone to hear.

But then during the breaks he pulled me aside and said,

“And you need to speak up a little on the camera, make sure you look interested in what you’re saying.”

When a leader does that, it means they really care about your success.

Most are just there to give feedback when they have to and after that they’ve forgotten about you and your stuff.

But if after someone’s finished with you and they are still thinking about your work

to the point where they come and give you MORE feedback,

they have your best interest at heart.

Ferny’s story is really one of strife and struggle.

He connected with me probably differently to others.

He’s a minority in America.

A Mexican heritage graduate from MIT holding two degrees in Engineering.

The only difference between him and I is that he’s male and can speak Spanish.

I’m a Trinidadian, black female  with two degrees….. yes you guessed it

in Engineering.

I thought to myself if an engineer from MIT can do this marketing thing,

Then there’s nothing stopping me!

And so Ferny has been a HUGE inspiration in propelling me forward in my business.

It’s hard for engineers to leave that type of career and jump into marketing.

We’re not really outgoing type people.

But he’s shown me that it is totally possible

So Today I salute

Ferny Cellabos.
