The Secrets Behind Attractive Advertising
Recently I was scrolling through a real estate website and for the first time I actually observed the ads on the page.
That’s probably because they MOVED them and placed between the listings. I thought to myself – I’ve never seen ads here before.
If you haven’t noticed the same thing happens on your Facebook news feed.
We are living in an online age where our eyes have grown so accustomed to ads we even know where they are going to be placed.
So we often have the tendency to gloss over those areas of the website and we never see the ad!
So I was thinking that the people who placed those ads at the side just wasted a ton of money!!!!!
Well in your business you need to recognize that your audiences are probably doing the same thing.
They gloss over ads and rarely see them, so how do YOU ensure that your ad gets noticed.
Well I’ve been using Facebook to do my advertising and in case you didn’t know Facebook sovles at least two of the problems you may face in your advertising efforts.
Well one of the first rules is to remember the purpose of your advertisement.
Facebook helps you with this in terms of identifying the objective of your ad.
Is it to generate leads?
To get website views?
Clicks to a page?
Promoting Events?
You name it they have it.
The coaches from Elite Marketing Pro have provided tons on training on Facebook Advertising.
My opinion on any advertising is this —-
THE ONE AND ONLY GOAL OF YOUR ADVERTISING
IS TO ELICIT A DIRECT ACTION FROM THE READER WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO CAPTURE THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION.
Now obviously this only applies to those businesses that are interested in getting to know their customers directly.
But I’ve actually seen larger companies practice this principle for the same purpose of capturing their customers’ information.
In today’s online world you need to know who are the people you want to sell to.
Even if your purpose is to drive people to a website, you should know who is coming to your website.
Capture pages are very important. Attraction Marketing Formula Bootcamp talks all about this.
So enter your name and email in the box at the top right of this page to get your boot camp on Attraction Marketing.
So onto the structure of your ad.
You already know
Rule #1 – The Purpose of your Advertising is to capture information
NOT SELL them on your business.
Because no one likes to be sold anyway! Once you understand this fundamental concept the next few steps are easy.
The framework of your ad is made up of three parts
1) A sorting headline
Your headline needs to grab the people who are interested in what you’re about – example ” Hey Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants!!!!”
Or Hey Struggling Network Marketer
or Hey Struggling Business Owner.
Your obective with your headline is to call out your audience.
Don’t be as cheesy as I was in these examples. But you get my drift right?
2) Expose the huge problem/pain
Everyone has problems and business owners are no different. example –
“Are you getting trouble recruiting?”
Are you losing money on advertising?
Do know the ROI of your advertising?
Tired of seeing the scale over 200 lbs?
All these speak to prolems that people will have.
In your advertising you want to reveal the BAHP – Big Ass Hairy Problem!! (yes I cursed)
3) Offer the Solution –
the next step is simple. Let them know YOU hold the KEY to the Solution their looking for.
Again remember your purpose is to get them to ACT – so you will need some kind of follow up.
But the framework will always be the same
Grab their attention
Identify the problem
Reveal a solution that YOU have.

What a great way to help others solve problems. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
i like this simple breakdown. I often struggle with headlines. Next time I’ll ask myself these questions while narrowing it down.
Love these three simple steps. Often I think we try to complicate things and get away from the basics. Thanks for the reminder to keep ads simple and directed.
