Tips for Mothers Managing their own Business

As a mother building a business from home, I know how difficult it can be to juggle all the responsibilities

of home….

family….

and the business.

But it doesn’t have to be that challenging.

What I’ve realized being wife and mother is that I already EVERYTHING inside me to be able to succeed in business.

Good Mother to Good Business Owner

Now if you’re a “good” mother

and by “good” mother I mean you haven’t left you child in a trash can somewhere to be found or anything like that.

You’re a good mother because you sometimes hide in the closet just to get a break.

You’re a good mother because you’re hoping one day, just one day you’ll be able to use the bathroom by yourself.

You’re a good mother because you forgot to pack the lunch in the lunch bag and left them on the counter

and now have to waste a couple more hours in traffic to get it to your kids.

Good mothers already know how to run businesses.

I firmly believe that

They just need someone to help them identify the similar tasks and get to work.

A good mother runs a house better than most Presidents run their countries.

So I’m not going to tell you what you already know.

But I am going to show how to apply what you already know to a business.

And in this video I do talk about planning.

It may seem a little strange at first.

But planning doesn’t mean that you have every minute of the day scheduled.

Leave that for the working man or woman.

They need to have things scheduled.

There’s a difference you know.

Planning vs Scheduling

When I was working I scheduled things.

And was only because there were several activities that had fixed times.

example : WORK 8am to 4pm

So the time outside of that need to be scheduled carefully!

Now that I’m home building my business I plan things.

I plan projects.

I plan content.

I even plan housework!

There is a huge difference between planning and scheduling.

HUGE difference.

I plan chunks of time but NOT at a specific time.

If you catch my drift.

I can’t schedule time anymore because I don’t know if my daughter is going to be home today or not.

So I can’t say I’ll do my blogging at 10am.

No I can say however that I will do my blogging for 30 minutes.

Whenever I get the opportunity to sit down for 30 minutes!

See the difference.

I talk a little about that in this video below.
