So when I started my online business I immediately jumped into an affiliate program right away. They were great at selling different products to help your average (aka me) online marketer start a business online. Very soon they changed their niche to specifically teach network marketers how to build a business online, generate leads and close more business.
This was cool as I was building a network marketing business on the side (still am), but it was not my focus. The training however still applied to anyone building a business online, so I maintained my membership and even got “promoted” to help them run their business for a while.
You may or may not know, the challenge with most businesses online is generating enough leads to be able to close sales.
So anyway back to my story.
So while learning all the in’s and out’s of this program I had to acquire a few assets – mainly this website – and everything that went into building this website. That included hosting, domain name, theme, email connection etc. and of course a host of other things which I’ll cover in a separate blog post.
Somewhere along this journey I realized that I was paying for the training and not being an affiliate, and secondly that there was more to affiliate marketing than I had been told. Once you had a hub aka your website all set up and ready to go the sky was the limit when it came to affiliate marketing.
So let’s get back…….to the actual blog post and how this whole affiliate marketing can help you start earning from home.
Now full disclaimer – You are not going to make 6 figures out the gate. It will take at least 2 years to start earning a decent income that you can live on, and maybe another 2 years before you start feeling comfortable enough, but I’m going to show you a few things that may help accelerate your earnings.
